Nvidia, Indosat to build $200m AI center in Indonesia: government

JAKARTA -- U.S. chipmaker Nvidia and Indonesian telecommunications company Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison plan to build a $200 million artificial intelligence center in Southeast Asia's largest economy, as demand for digitization in the region booms.

The new center will be built in Solo, a city in Central Java, by the end of this year, Indonesia's Communications and Informatics Ministry said in a statement dated April 3.
