Japan's NTT Data set to tap tech chief as president amid digital push

TOKYO -- Japan's NTT Data Group plans to appoint Chief Technology Officer Yutaka Sasaki as its next president, aiming to jump-start an expansion of its digital business that is expected to be a growth driver.

The 58-year-old Sasaki is set to succeed current President Yo Honma after the company's annual shareholders meeting in June, marking the first change at the top in six years. Honma will take on an advisory role.
